Our Research and Publications

We aim to conduct and distribute research consistent with our mission to eradicate the sexual abuse of youth. We do this through identifying, evaluating, and disseminating the latest research, information, and proven prevention practices. Specifically, we are interested in parent and youth knowledge of abuse prevention concepts; youth-focused prevention education (e.g., self and peer protection, identifying risky situations, and facilitating disclosure); decreasing the demand for sexual abuse of youth (e.g., pornography consumption); and addressing obstacles to effective prevention efforts (e.g., attitudes toward consent culture).
